The Costa Blanca Include Javea And Moraira

February 14th, 2011 No comments

The Costa Blanca, Spain has enough sun for the world. This coastal Mediterranean vacationland is a part of the Spanish Province of Alicante. You can travel the Costa Blanca from Denia city in the north along the coast line to Pilar de la Horadada or the resort city of Torrevieja. This is the last town of importance within the boundaries of the province. Some of the surrounding territory that many seeking the Costa Blanca will want to experience, is actually within the boundaries of the Community of Valencia.

The White Coast says it all. The name was given to the larger part of this region thanks to the almond blossoms that cover the region yearly in white. However those who return yearly come back to the white coast they’ve known, which is the velvety white carpet that covers hundreds of miles of beach along the Mediterranean coast line.

Centers along the Costa Blanca include Javea and Moraira. Other centers are Altea, Benidorm and Guardamar. Along the south Costa you’ll discover the famous exports of Torrevieja. The dream vacation for many is to rental Spanish villa on the beaches of any of these centers. Each villa is considered to be someone’s favorite because it has something extra special that will tickle your fancy!

Javea is located on the east Iberian Peninsula. Traveling the Costa Blanca is very easy to travel around in with at least two airports, (Alicante and Javea) and a network of highways that offer time-saving trips. Looking at the maps of Spain, you’ll notice that the highway A-7 connects Javea with the rest of Europe. A secondary network of off ramps make connecting with other centers a breeze.

Everyone stops to admire the landmark mountain peak Montgo. This is located in a region rich in nature. The city has professionally cared for landscapes and beaches. The beaches are a World Heritage that has given Javea its most interesting tradition and culture. Aside from Alicante, Javea is the next largest nearby city. The city and area has had economic ups and downs and the story of the cities financial come back has to do with the raisin market.

Although the citiy has recovered economically, the citizens still go to their country villa homes and enmass harvest grapes. As some know, harvesting grapes is a very tiring labor intensive process. They reserve a portion of the muscatel grapes harvest to make the characteristic raisins. The process is still done in the same way as it was in ancient days. The city is still an exporter of the raisin product and it has become internationally known. At one time it was the city’s saving economic engine. In the area of Javea and Alicante you’ll discover that this region of Spain is an important part of the market place. There is much fresh produce and nuts offered as well as the raisin export.

Best Places to Tour in Spain

February 11th, 2011 No comments

Who had never heard a place called Spain? This country is so popular to the vacationers for many reasons. Some say that it is the culture that drives them to that place. Others say that the colorful past that encourages them to have a tour there. Whatever the reasons that travelers have for visiting Spain, one thing is for sure and that is everyone want to have some fun.

Whether you are organizing the trip by yourself or with the help of others the main goal is to have a worry free holiday. Vacationers are there to have fun and relax. Having a problem free one might be something that is impossible to have especially with all the stories of bad trips. The opposite is true though, it is possible to have a successful holiday. If the correct steps will be followed everything will fall into place. Reading books and travel magazines will help you in achieving your goal.

Before you select your destination you need to take things into consideration. The interests of those who will accompany you should be considered. You have to keep in mind that you are not the only one on this trip and what others like is also important. This should be a group decision. If your interest lies in foods, culture and rich past then Spain is the perfect destination.

The booking of your flight going to and from your destinations should be done ahead of time. If you are going there during the peak season like summer then doing it months before hand is highly recommended. Resorts are something that Spain is not lacking and this where most people would wan to be when the weather is hot. The influx of tourists doubles most of the time and therefore sold out tickets for flight should be expected.

During you trip you need to have a good place to stay. Reservation for your accommodation just like the bookings of your flights should also be taken cared of ahead of time. There had been many reported cases of vacationers not having the best accommodation. The best place to stay is easy to find online. You can do the reservations online too and pay it using your credit card. There are many options to choose from and some of those are hotels, houses for rents and villas. If you are going there with a large group of friends, it is highly recommended that you consider the later rather than staying in a hotel room.

Hiring the help of a travel agency is very common nowadays. With the busy lifestyle of the working class it is understandable that you do not have time to organize it yourself. These agencies can process the different legal papers that are required to every traveler. Taking care of the bookings and reservations for your accommodation is part of their services.
