Nice Motel In Paris

July 30th, 2010 No comments

Situated at the heart of the city of lights Hotel Mayet Paris is a great place to be for those who are planning to stay for a long time and explore this romantic city. It is a cute budget hotel with fully furnished interiors, friendly staff and small but convenient bedrooms. Though the shower room is a bit small it is quite manageable for those who are looking forward to staying there for quite some time.

We stayed at the Mayet Hotel during our trip to Disneyland Paris. It was a really comfy accommodation. The metro station is placed at a very close distance to the hotel, and therefore it was easy for us to commute to Disneyland Paris.

Although the rooms of the small are “smaller”, yet the excellent service and the quality of care for the customer made it seem large enough. During an earlier annual visit of mine to Paris, I was on the lookout of a hotel which was smooth on my limited budget. That was when Mayet hotel came as a choice, and after experiencing the service and the environment, I knew I had hit the right spot.

For a lone traveler who does not wish to waste too much money on a big hotel and prefers a quiet and peaceful stay, Hotel Mayet Paris is the right kind of place to be in. The best thing about Hotel Mayet is that the rooms are clean and always well kept.

Another thing to be kept in mind is that they do offer online facilities. Usually booking is done online and they honor the online offers and discounts when applicable.

We had a hectic day at Disneyland with its theme parks, dining and entertainment. We were very exhausted by the time we reached Hotel Mayet Paris. The cozy atmosphere was just like home and the excellent service by the waiters is to be commended.

The hotel had a very soothing aura to it. The rooms were neat and the management remarkable. Even the exquisitely tiled bathroom added to the magic the hotel unleashed. And the beds of Hotel Mayet Paris are amazing! I guess after a very long time, I slept like a baby, relaxed, relieved and at comfort.

Normally when it comes to a city break most cities are not much fun for kids, so the grownups are generally happy to go to museums and the youngsters are more likely to be bored. One of the best options is a trip to Paris when the grownups can savor the many cultural activities and sights and you can also take a few days out for some essential household enjoyment.

For anyone who has visited one of the Disney theme parks in America you will know how much fun the children can have, not to mention the adults. Just outside Paris is Disneyland Resort where there is good access by rail right to the park entrance.

There are lots of hotels close to the theme park, which will offer convenient access of being just a few moments away by train but lower in price. London, as a vacation destination, is very hard to beat. It is the most popular city in England for city breaks and longer vacations. Most people travel there to take in the wonderful sights of the capital city of England and some endeavor to see the British Royal Family (with the Queen being the top of everyone’s list). Many people head to London to take advantage of the finest shopping in the land.

London is one of the main three cities of the world associated with serious shopping, the others being Paris and New York. Check any bottle of perfume and the city is bound to appear somewhere on the packaging and usually on the bottle itself. Virtually every company involved in the retail trade has it’s UK flagship store in one of the primary shopping districts of London.

Department stores, designer shops, fashion shops and boutiques, music shops, bookshops, jewellery shops and virtually any other type of retail outlet is found within easy walking distance of a London tube station. Usually the different types of store tend to appear in groups in certain areas such as Oxford Street, Knightsbridge, New Bond Street and the likes.

Oxford Street And Knightsbridge

This is where you will find many of the nations flagship department stores. Oxford street has the likes of Selfridges and Knightsbridge has the famous Harrods and also Harvey Nichols. Oxford Street is said to be the busiest shopping street in Europe.

Old/New Bond Street

Armani, Gucci and virtually any luxury brand can be found on Bond Street. Associated with designer clothing, perfume; art, antiques and other items of luxury Bond Street has the biggest number of suppliers the Royal Family than anywhere else in London.

Covent Garden

If you find Bond Street a bit too expensive for your budget then you will find Covent Garden a pleasant alternative. This is where you will find most of London’s smaller independent fashion shops and shoe shops.

Other Places In London Associated With Shopping

Carnaby Street has a long association with fashion and in recent years the street is once again becoming trendy. If you want an old fashioned British tailor then Savile Row is the most famous place but you will also find tailors in and around Piccadilly. Hatton Garden (near Farringdon) is another place to go for jewelry shops. Shopping for books is best done around the Charing Cross Road although you may find some bookshops in Covent Garden too.

You could write a book on the places to go shopping in London, and I suppose there are many to choose from. If you want to go looking for more places to visit take a look at the many London markets.

Paris is known as the City of Romance, and the city is a great place to go with your partner for a romantic weekend. In Paris you find everything from great food and shopping to some very interesting sights.

The landmark of Paris is the Eiffel Tower. The tower was build for the World Exhibition in 1889. The plan was to tear it down afterwards, but luckily enough the decision was changed. The tower is 319 meter (1047 feet) high, and until the Empire State Building was built in 1931, it was the highest building in the world.

A visit in the high season demands patience. Because of the limited capacity of the elevators, the line can be very long. Another option, if you do not want to wait a couple of hours, is to take the 1.665 stairs instead. Whatever you take the elevator or the stair, your reward will be a fantastic view. On a sunny day, you can see as long as 70 kilometers (about 43 miles

The Louvre Museum was made famous by Dan Brown in his book The Da Vinci Code. But the museum is more than a crime scene in a famous book. It is also the scene of one of the world’s most amazing art exhibitions. Look for the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo da Vinci and the ancient Greek statue Venus from Milo.

But the exhibition in the old building from 1190 is much more than a statue and a painting. You can also experience ancient are from Greece and Egypt; or modern fashion and design. So if you are both to old and modern art, one day is not enough to see it all.

Other great sight in Paris are Champs-Elyses and Notre Dame Cathedral. You might also want to visit Versailles about 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the city centre. Disneyland will certainly also make yourself and your kids happy.

You can also do some heavy shopping in Paris. You can find all the famous luxury trademarks in the department stores. When it comes to haute couture fashion houses, Rue du Faubourg-St-Honor on the right side of the Seine is the place to go. Look for Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Pierre Cardin, Chanel, and Christian Dior.

If you are more into markets, Paris is a great city. You can find old postcards, porcelain, musical instruments and books at the March de la Porte de Vanves market. Superb food can be bought at the Rue Mouffetard market, while cheap souvenir is found around Rue de Rivoli.

In the end of the day, you should spoil yourself with some great French food and red wine; or you could go on a sunset cruise on the Seine. After that, visit one of the many nightclubs to party all night.

My visit and my tour to Europe were extremely memorable. I have visited almost five major countries of Europe; I was undoubtedly amazed with many places. The city of Gondolas and Rome which are part Italy, Austria and France has won my heart .If I got an opportunity, I would definitely go there again.

The citys that will remain in mind ever included Rome and Paris. The Pariss Disney Land was an utmost amazing experience. I got a chance to visit famous Basilica in the heart of Paris. I attended evening prayers also. I was in the happiest mode at that time.

The beautiful and romantic city of Venice and Gondolas were happening. They have made my heart bounce. It was a bountiful experience. I collected lot of pictures. The city palaces have undoubtedly amazing structures. You might see lot of love birds clicking pictures of these history rich layouts.

The grandeur of all places is something I can not describe in words. Eiffel tower and lighting of it, gives a great message as to always be fighting and energetic. And Du Louvre museum and the hotel and Fashion Street were in close by vicinity. I got a chance to make lot of friends.

If you see the architectural layouts of these places you might write a big book. The whole layout and designs can be credited to the citys Roofers. They have done remarkable work. I could comprehend the layouts even further as I have an immense knowledge on roofing.

I took lot of pictures of all the layouts. The Great painting of Mona Lisa was enhanced even further; because of the way the platform and panels were surrounding the painting. I have gathered lot of information on roofing from all these places. Also the friends who along with me enriched their experience as roofers was commendable

I might not work on a huge layout; however my trip to these cities will definitely help me as a better design consultant. The write ups that I have written about roofing so far will be enhanced further because of my incurred knowledge.

I might get an opportunity to visit many more place because of my good roofing work. However I am quite sure that I will visit Europe once more and would like to study the splendid structures even further.

Scott Rodgers’ Astounding Knowledge and expertise on roofing (Need a roofer? click here) works has been converted to some helpful write ups and tutorials on this profession. With ample experience backing him, He has heavily consulted on resources for roofers in the past.
