Disneyland Paris: Treat the Kids to the Holiday of a Lifetime

March 24th, 2011 No comments

Chances are, your children have a very big imagination. From slaying dragons to dining with the Queen, it can be a tough job being a child. Feed their little minds with a break at the most imaginative resort of all – Disneyland Paris. Let them be real life princesses and pirates, meet their favourite characters and embark on a true break of a lifetime. With a sprinkle of magic dust and a lot of creativity, your holiday will be the most magical ever.

Start the holiday magic off by travelling first class. Forget being crammed in; in first class, the seating is more comfortable and you also have the added bonus of being served a full meal at your seat. Each seat has a table in front of it with plenty of room, so the kids can stay occupied easily by colouring, drawing or even playing a board game. This is a great way to spoil your little darlings before you’ve even left England.

Or for an even more special way to travel, fly. Whilst it might not be by magic carpet or with Peter Pan, flying first-class can be just as magical. The seats are much roomier and the choice of films will be the talking point for the kids. Watch their faces as they feel like movie stars and royalty travelling in such style.

For a top notch Disney experience, stay at the Disneyland Hotel. It’s great because you are right next to the entrance for the Paris Disneyland park, so you’ll save valuable time getting there in the morning, and won’t have far to carry the kids home at the end of a terrific day. It’s themed around Disney of course and offers guests plenty of perks like fast track entry into the park and 24 hour room service.

If you really want the full luxury experience then book into one of the magnificent suites. Fit for a king or queen, the Sleeping Beauty Suite is truly regal. It boasts three balconies, a dining room, a piano and a view of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Main Street. You can also book the Cinderella or Tinkerbell suites which are also a fantastic place to lay your head after a long day spent in the park.

When it comes to travelling around with other people it really can be quite stressful, particularly if you all have different ideas about what you want to do during your trip. It is sad but true that holidays like this can end up ruining a friendship or putting an end to a romance. Here are a few tips to help you travel with friends and not destroy your friendship in the process.

- Before you head off together, you should make some plans of the things you want to do while you are away. Doing this before you actually go away is a good idea. Making plans that you can agree on is important even if you don’t end up sticking to them.

- When it comes to travelling with others, there has to be a bit of give and take. Make sure that everyone is getting their wishes met at least now and again. Just following the whims of one of the group is bound to lead to resentment and anger.

- If you are going to be spending a lot of time with people you will need to make allowances for their oddities. You should not spend your holiday time picking faults with each other. The best idea is to bite your tongue and just do your best to get along.

- It is important to make sure that you allow each other some time alone. The reason this is important is because you can end up seeing too much of one another and start to get irritated. Just having a little stroll alone might be the best thing to do to get a bit of space.

- You may have a friend who irritates you on a normal day and if you go away with them it could be really magnified. It might be a good idea to avoid going on holiday with this person because it is almost certain to end in disaster.

Today, more and more families are taking the car and driving to their holiday destination abroad. Many people drive down and catch the dover to calais ferry. This often saves worrying about driving through the tunnel and worrying about disneyland paris tickets. At the end of the day there isn’t a better way of getting in some shopping? Try not to forget the European travel insurance.

Searching for a getaway or a romantic break? Then the Eurotunnel is your ultimate choice

Nice Motel In Paris

Situated at the heart of the city of lights Hotel Mayet Paris is a great place to be for those who are planning to stay for a long time and explore this romantic city. It is a cute budget hotel with fully furnished interiors, friendly staff and small but convenient bedrooms. Though the shower room is a bit small it is quite manageable for those who are looking forward to staying there for quite some time.

We stayed at the Mayet Hotel during our trip to Disneyland Paris. It was a really comfy accommodation. The metro station is placed at a very close distance to the hotel, and therefore it was easy for us to commute to Disneyland Paris.

Although the rooms of the small are “smaller”, yet the excellent service and the quality of care for the customer made it seem large enough. During an earlier annual visit of mine to Paris, I was on the lookout of a hotel which was smooth on my limited budget. That was when Mayet hotel came as a choice, and after experiencing the service and the environment, I knew I had hit the right spot.

For a lone traveler who does not wish to waste too much money on a big hotel and prefers a quiet and peaceful stay, Hotel Mayet Paris is the right kind of place to be in. The best thing about Hotel Mayet is that the rooms are clean and always well kept.

Another thing to be kept in mind is that they do offer online facilities. Usually booking is done online and they honor the online offers and discounts when applicable.

We had a hectic day at Disneyland with its theme parks, dining and entertainment. We were very exhausted by the time we reached Hotel Mayet Paris. The cozy atmosphere was just like home and the excellent service by the waiters is to be commended.

The hotel had a very soothing aura to it. The rooms were neat and the management remarkable. Even the exquisitely tiled bathroom added to the magic the hotel unleashed. And the beds of Hotel Mayet Paris are amazing! I guess after a very long time, I slept like a baby, relaxed, relieved and at comfort.

All children dream of visiting Disneyland, but let’s not forget that adults also like to take part in fun activities and be entertained too, which is just what Disneyland offers. The problem is that for anyone who lives outside of America, traveling to the original Disneyland is very expensive. Therefore, Disneyland Paris is ideal for people living in Europe.

Even if you live in the U.S, it can make a nice change to spend your vacation outside of the country. With Disneyland Paris, you can have the same exciting Disney experience, but also enjoy some European culture by taking a day trip or two to nearby places. That is of course, if you manage to find any free time, as Disneyland Paris has so much on offer!

It is of little surprise that Disney Paris provides a first class array of hotels and facilities. All budgets are catered for, and you can find just the right hotel to meet your particular tastes. Hotels there include the official Disneyland Hotel right on site, and the Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge and Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, all of which offer easy access to all of the fun and activities.

Staying in a Disneyland Paris hotel is an experience that you will remember for a long time as you can enjoy entertainment and even themed breakfast with your favorite Disney characters! It is easy enough to get to the theme park itself as a free Disney shuttle service leaves every 10 minutes from your hotel. You can also take the shuttle service to Disney Village, which is an entertainment district that includes shops, restaurants, cinemas and bars.

Another benefit of the Disneyland Paris park is that more than 80% of the attractions are under cover, so you do not have to worry about rain and the French weather spoiling your fun. As for the rides, there is every kind of thrill that you could wish for. There are fun, easy going rides for youngsters, and fast, scary rides for old children and adults.
