We always rent a timeshare in the area (from http://www.redweek.com)which is economical, gives us space to spread out, and a kitchen to help on the cost of meals, and spend a week - usually busier than heck! As this article points out, there's a Ton to do just around Huntington Beach, but you're also close enough for a jaunt over to Knott's Berry Farm, and our favorite - the Aquarium of the Pacific. It's an Easy vacation with the kids!
