The museum card is however not valid here, so be prepared to pay around nine Euros for entry. You should also visit the Museum Amstelkring, which is a Catholic church converted into a museum. NEMO, a science centre, is an educational attraction that is very pleasurable to visit.
The Rembrandt House, where the artist Rembrandt lived with his wife, is also another place on the list of must-see places. The Rijksmuseum is another place to see, where works by the Dutch masters are housed. The Van Gogh Museum is dedicated to the Dutch painter, and has a large collection of his paintings, as well as Monet’s.
You can also take an organised city tour, with a tour operator that has guided tours into most tourist spots. This will cost more than going everywhere yourself, but if you are not interested in looking through a guide book this will be a good alternative.
